Comments have been enabled

After the urging of the non-orchestra winds, I have turned the comments function on. Feel free to comment on my posts or to add your own related content. All comments will be previewed before they are posted, so it may take a day or to for you to see your message. Please keep posts appropriate and professional. Thanks!

  1. If you have a lot to say, you should embed twitter on your blog! Blogging = 2008 but blogging+twitter = January, 2009!

  2. So, how does Twitter work with a blog? What benefits does it add?

  3. Try this: http://hiddendesigns.blogspot.com/
I threw it together in 10 min.

Twitter allows for status updates, aka micro-blogging (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Micro-blogging)

Micro-blogging is good for quick updates during the day. This can be from a computer or a cell phone (which happens to be against school policy).

Twitter is the best of all of the micro-blogging services.

  4. I guess sending out tweets seems like a bit much to me. If people really want to follow the blog, they can subscribe. I'm not sure getting extra random notes from your band director is all that exciting, and maybe a little bit odd. Maybe I'll change my mind someday, but thanks for the suggestions anyway!
